“DMFCO is very engaged with its investors. Our institutional investors approach us with their preferred portfolio characteristics; we take care of the analysis. Our investors praise us for our tailor-made strategies and continual support.”
At DMFCO, we share knowlegde non-stop. For Edo, that explains why the company is doing so well. “This company is not hierarchical. If I have a question, I can just as easily discuss it with one of the founding partners as with one of my peers. At the lunch table, the whole company comes together. If you work in Risk, for example, you will know what is going on in Sales. One of the great things about working here is that everyone has a lot of responsibility.”
DMFCO stimulates high performance, but at the same time has a no-nonsense company culture. “The culture here is very down to earth; be yourself and be engaged with the rest of the company. For most of us, DMFCO is like a second family. We share an intrinsic curiosity, always wanting to learn and do things better tomorrow.”
“With its mortgage brand, MUNT Hypotheken, DMFCO proactively places the needs of mortgage consumers at the centre. I truly believe that such a simple approach leads to greater financial success.”
Ellen has a specific mission: "My skill is looking at the market and seeing which innovations can bring MUNT mortgage services to an even higher level. Financial services are rapidly changing. We want to stay at the forefront of these developments, and I believe that focussing on how we can improve the services we offer our customers is a key part of that."
Ellen feels that the company's culture aligns with her values. "DMFCO is a young company, which brings a fantastic energy to the office. An essential part of the culture for me is the belief that the responsibility within a company should be given to the people who actually do the work. When you feel that you are trusted to do things, you perform better.”
“Using data, we can really make a difference for our mortgage customers.”
After earning his master's degree in Econometrics and Applied Mathematics, Willem started his career as a risk analyst at DMFCO. In his work, Willem focusses specifically on data analyses, a field he sees gaining significant importance.
“I am interested in transforming complex data into something that benefits our investors in a practical way. We always look at how we can help every investor with their investment needs. I maintain close contact with my colleagues from other teams, so we can be more flexible and get things done quickly. That is how DMFCO provides an innovative proposition to our investors, and continually improves distribution through our mortgage label, MUNT Hypotheken."
“This company has a fresh view on investing.”
Christiaan works in Investor Relations, focussing on building productive relationships with institutional investors. His main priority is to be easily accessible to investors. “It sounds simple, but that's really why DMFCO has such a good reputation with its investors. When investors ask a question, we strive to quickly provide them with an answer. We proactively work with our investors. For example, if the Dutch Central Bank makes a statement in the morning, by the afternoon we have provided our investors with analyses of how it impacts their strategy.”
Employees at DMFCO control their own professional development. They are entitled to personal coaching and regularly visit other innovative companies. “The management gives us a lot of responsibility and if you see a way of improving something, you are given full support to do it yourself. You see how your own initiatives directly influence the company.”
