DMF Hypotheek Management BV and DMF Investment Management BV (DMFCO) attach great importance to the protection of your privacy and the security of your personal data. We will only process your personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
WHY DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We process your personal data in accordance with our services or business operations. We use your data for example for:
- preparing, entering into and executing an agreement with DMFCO
- informing about relevant products and services of DMFCO
- our business operations
- conducting market research
- record-keeping and communicating for the prevention and combat of financial crime
- conducting statistical analyses
- developing and improving our products and services, including coaching and training purposes, and
- complying with legal obligations
If you send us an email, we will only use your personal data to answer your request and not for other purposes. In the context of our business relationship, we may send you newsletters or emails.
ON WHAT BASIS DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We process personal data if we have a legitimate reason to do so, namely if:
- the processing is necessary for the execution of an agreement with you;
- the processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation of DMFCO;
- the processing is necessary for the representation of a legitimate interest of DMFCO or (a) third party (parties) (such as our customers, investors, financial institutions or the financial sector), insofar as your privacy rights do not outweigh this. For example, we have a legitimate interest if we (i) inform our customers about our products and services; (ii) want to improve our products and services; (iii) want to conduct market research or make (statistical) analyses; or (iv) enter into business transactions in the business interests of DMFCO or its group companies; or
- your permission. You can always withdraw your consent. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing prior to the withdrawal of consent.

CONFIDENTIALITY
We respect your privacy and ensure that we always treat the personal information you give us confidentially. Our employees are obliged to keep your data that they know confidential. If the law requires us to do so, this confidentiality does not apply.
DATA SECURITY
We are taking appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access and other unwanted actions with your personal data.
TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
We only provide your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for our services or business operations, for the execution of our agreement with you, or to comply with a legal obligation.
DMFCO always ensures that your personal data is treated with the utmost care by third parties and that any data transfer takes place in a secure manner. We contractually oblige our service partners to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your personal data is maintained.
You will not receive offers from third parties through DMFCO.
WHERE ARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED?
The processing of personal data you provide to DMFCO generally takes place within the European Economic Area (the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, the EEA and the United Kingdom if it is no longer part of the aforementioned group). In the event that personal data are shared with recipients outside the EEA, we will only do so if the General Data Protection Regulation is complied with. This means that a transfer of personal data to recipients outside the EEA is possible:
- if there is an adequacy decision by the European Commission, showing that the recipient in question offers an adequate level of protection, as is currently the case, for example, for US companies that are certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework;
- if appropriate safeguards for the protection of personal data have been taken, such as binding corporate rules or a data transfer agreement based on standard provisions approved by the European Commission. A copy of this can be obtained from us; or
- in the absence of an adequacy decision or an appropriate guarantee as referred to above, if one of the conditions of art. 49 GDPR is complied with (only for specific situations).
REQUESTS WITH RESPECT TO PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
You can ask us to view the personal data we are processing. You can ask us to change, delete or transfer your personal data to you in digital form. In addition, you can ask us to limit the processing of your personal data and you can object to certain processing of your personal data. If we are processing your personal data based on your consent, you can withdraw this consent at any time. If you wish to contact us for these types of requests, you can do so in writing using the contact details in this privacy statement. There are various exceptions to the aforementioned rights by law. We will check whether they apply.
STORAGE AND PROCESSING PERIODS
We will not store and process your personal data any longer than necessary or regulated by law. After this period we will automatically delete your personal data.

COMPLAINTS
We are happy to help you if you have complaints about the processing of your personal data. If you are unable to find a solution with us, you also have the right under privacy legislation to file a complaint with the privacy regulator: the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
AMENDMENTS
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Statement from time to time. We always publish the most recent version on our websites www.dmfco.nl and www.munthypotheken.nl.
